This was my first provider's visit in the United States, and the initial check-up was fantastic. My English isn't very good, but the staff were all very patient and listened attentively, and the translation was excellent. The first translator, in particular, was very thorough, and my family provider was incredibly patient and attentive, which eased my worries about seeing a provider in the US with limited English! It was a great experience! I hope the subsequent examinations and treatments go smoothly!
Dr. Trista Hewett is the absolute best! She takes her time to explain everything to me and helps me to understand any and all things of health relevance! I cannot recommend her highly enough!

dr. Beaver is always very patient and listens carefully to my concerns. Lexington family practice is lucky to have a physician like Dr. Beaver who genuinely shows concern for his patients. He is very thorough. He is also very soft, spoken and calming for patients who might be upset or anxious.
Dr. Beaver and his staff have always been top-notch. They take the time to listen, answer questions and clarify when needed Very responsive between visits as well when there have been some issues, such as getting Medicare to approve DME beyond its normal allowances. I know that paperwork, etc., is time consuming and can be a pain, but I very, very much appreciate their efforts.

Dr. Jackson is such a good listener.. She asks questions and thoughtfully decides the best treatment. She also asked me to call or message her in a few days to see how I was doing. From the minute you walk in the door, you are welcomed. This staff is fantastic !!! From the billing department to the girls that schedule your appointments to the lab personnel, the assistance, nurse, and doctor are the absolute best. As soon as seven days before an appointment, you can complete eCheck-in through MyChart. You can update information and electronically sign documents before your appointment to make the check-in process faster.
Arrive 15 minutes before your appointment.
Come early to update any necessary information. If you arrive more than 10 minutes after your appointment time, we may ask you to reschedule.
Let us know as soon as possible if you have to cancel.
Please do your best to cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment. If you cancel three times without advance notice, we may dismiss you from our practice.
Payment will be due at the time of your appointment.
Payment is due the day of service, including copayments, coinsurance and any other charges. If your care isn't covered by insurance, you are entitled to a 50% discount.

Prescription Refills
Call and leave a message with your name, date of birth, prescription and strength, along with your doctor’s name and your pharmacy’s name and number. Allow one to two business days for us to process the refill. We won't contact you about the request unless there is a problem.
We cannot refill some prescriptions.
You may be required to see your provider before we can refill your medication. We also do not accept refill requests from local or mail-order pharmacies—you must request these refills.
Lab/Test Results
You can receive timely notifications and view lab results from tests you’ve had done through MyChart. Test results should be available within 7 to 10 business days.
Allow up to 7 days for your referral to go through. Once it does, our office or the specialist's office will call you with your appointment information. If you make your own appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so we can obtain any prior authorizations that may be required.
Forms
Due to the volume of forms we process, please allow up to 10 business days for us to complete them. There may also be a charge for completing your form, or your provider may require that you come in for an office visit for assistance in completing your form.
Immunization Records
Please allow up to two business days on all immunization record requests. If you must call our office for an immunization record, you may be asked to leave a message with the patient’s name, birth date, and contact phone number.
School/Work Excuses
School/work excuses will be issued at the provider’s discretion only when the patient has had an appointment.
Questions for Your Care Team
You can exchange messages with your providers and read doctor’s notes from recent visits in MyChart. Keep messages short and to the point. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
After hours there will be an on-call provider who will be available for urgent needs that cannot wait until the next business day. If an emergency occurs after hours, please have paper, pencil and pharmacy phone number available. Prescription refills will not be handled by the on-call provider nor will pain medications, controlled substances or antibiotics be prescribed to your pharmacy.
