Identifying Community Needs
Lexington Medical Center and MUSC Health, in collaboration with Alliance for a Healthier SC, South Carolina Hospital Association and SC DHEC, have launched a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) to learn how to best serve our shared community.
Ongoing Assessment
According to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010, all tax-exempt hospitals must conduct a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) every three years. Accurate community health information is essential to identify and prioritize health needs in a particular geographic location.
