First Steps to Treatment

You will be assigned a team of specialized professionals. They will work together and meet once a week to discuss your treatment plan and progress to date. Your care team may include some of the following specialists:
Medical Dosimetrist
These individuals plan radiation treatment for oncology patients.
Nutritionists
Identify meal plans and recipes to help your recovery.
Surgical Technologists
Provide support for invasive and noninvasive surgical procedures.
Medical Physicist
Create, implement and monitor the procedures that allow the best treatment using radiation.
Radiologic Technologists
Apply dose of radiation for imaging and treatment.
Therapists
Work with patients to increase comfort and help stop cancer from spreading.
Medical Technologists
Perform diagnostic analysis on a variety of body fluids.
Social Workers
Care for your emotional and physical needs, and help locate support services.
Meet Your Nurse Navigator
Every patient is assigned a nurse navigator to provide one-on-one support.
What is a Nurse Navigator?
Nurse navigators are registered nurses who help you through your diagnosis, treatment and recovery.
How Do They Support Patients?
