Excellent concern and clear explanation of my issue.
Thank you for providing knowledgeable personnel with the ability to provide easily understandable information.
Even though there was a certain amount of pain involved in this procedure, the doctor was as gentle as possible. I expected what was coming but his calm nature was reassuring and comforting. I appreciate all the staff at his office for being kind, understanding and helpful throughout the whole process. Thank you for helping me have a measure pain free time in my life.
Everybody that I have interacted with and encountered at this office has been nothing short of amazing. I am truly grateful for Lexington, brain and spine, especially Dr. Boyd and his team.
There were no decisions about my care during this visit. Waiting on test results, that is the only reason for the "neutral". The visit and care were excellent
His bedside manner and just his general over all attitude was very poor. When I questioned anything he got a tone with me that he was very annoyed with me as if I was beneath him and my questions were of no value.
Doctor Jay is the first doctor I've spoken with that truly seemed to care and listen to what I had to say it's been very frustrating lately so that was refreshing.
Dr acted like he only had 5 minutes to review my case.
I actually had to ask him to stop before walking out the door to discuss another issue I marked on the paper prior to him entering the exam room.
Dr. Engh was so helpful. I went to him because I needed advice and a second opinion regarding recent surgeries on my brain and resulting issues. He was concise, took time with me, gave helpful advice and eased my mind.
I reached out to her for an earlier appointment because I was in pain from [...] and she got me in quickly. Thanks to her concern I had relief for the first time since the accident
My procedure went smoothly. Each step was talked through so that I knew what to expect. I also knew what to do and how to care for myself once I returned home. There were no surprises and I'm very satisfied.
Victoria is the best!!! She explained everything in full details when I asked her how things works and not to mention she was the only one to accept me due to someone else put my shunt in!!! 100/10 recommend!!!
The whole experience with Lexington Medical Center could not have been better. Simply awesome! Dr Engh and his team are amazingly compassionate and extremely talented! They turned a serious medical issue and the stress that accompanies it, ultimately, into a blessing. I will be forever grateful!
Megan Tolar you rock! She was very personable, professional, knowledgeable, and empathetic to my concerns/injury! And for that, I am grateful! You're gonna make a great physician in your future!
Carolyn Perdue was so knowledgeable about what we might do or do something else. Very smart & a great sense of humor. Up front & honest. Love that about someone who is telling you about what could & could not happen so that you are prepared. Wonderful appointment.
Dr. Westerkam you’re such a personable position and is excellent at explaining how he is performing the test and what it means. His report is very readable to understand what he found. He is a first class physician for Lexington Medical Center.
I felt very comfortable with my doctor and his staff during procedure. My expectations have been met as pain level has decreased nearly totally after 3 days. Dr Ashmore is fantastic!!!
Dr. Beal and his care team are always very caring, informative and efficient in the care they provide each time I am in their office. I appreciate the care and attention they provide to their patients.
Excellent service! I'm having surgery soon and Dr. Toussaint made me feel much more at ease by explaining exactly what to expect from this experience since I've never been a patient in a hospital! He is a thorough professional and I'm happy to be his patient.
Dr Westerkam was absolutely amazing. I wish he could be my primary doctor the way he listened and went over everything with me. I can’t tell you the last time I’ve received such great care from a physician!
The physician did not have any communication with me other than telling me I would feel a sting from the injection and as I was leaving was told to schedule a follow up appointment. His staff was helpful. I didn’t expect conversation but did expect yo at least be acknowledged by him by addressing me personally with at least a “hello”.
The visit was for my mother. The doctor listen talked and explained. He explained what the treatment plan would be. He made sure we understood what is going on.
As an introvert, I'm very anxious about people touching me. Jay seemed to notice this and took a lighthearted approach during the evaluation which helped me relax my guard for the duration of the appointment. I appreciate that he did not push a specific drug or injection and provided options and next steps. The fact that he seemed very interested in my recovery and his willingness to assist beyond this visit , makes me feel valued and glad that I was able to meet with him.
My provider was very competent and thorough in his explanation of my situation. He took time to understand my complex history and then approached all next steps with care and the proper amount of education. Even the resident in the room was compassionate and patient. I have been to many neurosurgeons, and this is the first time I walked away with understanding and assurance I was on the proper course of treatment.
I saw Caroline Perdue. Caroline Perdue far exceeded my expectations as a PA.
Caroline was knowable, kind, understanding and has great communication skills as she cheerfully interacted with us. I hope she will stay with Lexington Brain & Spine for a long time.
Very pleased with visit. Ms.Toler was very nice. She listen to my concerns and came up with a plan that I was pleased with. Very professional and friendly.
Dr Engh and his team are precisely what you hope for when receiving medical care. Professional, courteous, compassionate, thorough, and confident are all descriptors that come to mind. I am blessed that he is my surgeon and his team are providing my care. I could give no higher praise nor stronger recommendation.
I always keep in mind as humans we all have difficult days and we all have days which seem to be well tuned. My care has been very professional, easy spoken, and very direct. I’m well satisfied and have no complaints. Thank you.
Amber Blythe Lanier PA-C explained what was going on with the spot on my brain and put me at ease to the fact that they will watch it and keep me informed of any changes. I am very pleased with our talk.
Dr Engh is the closest thing to Jesus Christ. He is the most caring and knowledgeable provider I have ever dealt with. I recommend patients to him as often as I can. I could never thank him enough for saving my life!
Melissa is excellent with patients. Listens to the patient and does not rush through the process. Easy to talk to and does not rush through the treatment explanation
