Dr. Ashmore graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and earned his medical degree, graduating summa cum laude, from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He then completed a transitional year internship at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, before his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He also completed a pain medicine fellowship at Mayo Clinic.
