About Dr. Ashmore

Board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, Dr. Ashmore is a member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine and the Spine Intervention Society and has additional certification with the American Spinal Injury Association and the Institute for HealthCare Improvement.

Background

Dr. Ashmore graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and earned his medical degree, graduating summa cum laude, from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He then completed a transitional year internship at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, before his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He also completed a pain medicine fellowship at Mayo Clinic.
