About Carlotta

Board certified with more than 25 years of experience in internal medicine, outpatient diabetes and metabolic health, Carlotta is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and the South Carolina Nurses Association.

Expertise

She recently served as a nurse practitioner at Spa MD in West Columbia, South Carolina, evaluating and managing patients with metabolic dysfunction, diabetes and chronic health conditions. She also served as a health and wellness strategist with Healthy, Fit & Free in Lexington, South Carolina, where she focused on metabolic health, performance coaching and healthy aging.

Background

Carlotta graduated with her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of South Carolina in Columbia and earned a master’s degree in community mental health and psychiatric nursing from USC. She also received a post-graduate certificate as an adult nurse practitioner from USC.
