Lexington Health is alerting patients and community members about phishing emails that falsely use the MyChart name and logo to appear legitimate.

These messages may reference a "2026 MyChart Senior Health Package," Medicare wellness benefits or a free health kit and ask recipients to click a link, confirm an address or provide personal information.

These emails are fraudulent and are not affiliated with MyChart or Lexington Health.

Never Share Sensitive Information Through Email

We will NEVER ask for:

• Log In Credentials — Username, password, or two-factor authentication code.
• Sensitive Information — Full credit card information, social security number, or passwords through email.

How to Prevent Phishing Scams

Use the MyChart App

Download the MyChart app on your phone and keep it updated for the most secure experience. 

Add Our Contact Information to Your Phone

Verify all emails and SMS messages are from Lexington Health by saving our contact information.

Do Not Click on Suspicious Links

If you receive an email with a suspicious link, log onto MyChart directly from the app. Do not click on the link.

Do Not Assume Branded Emails are Real

Scammers can copy things such as your name, the Lexington Health logo, and other branding. 

Do Not Respond to "Urgent" Messages

Messages or emails that provoke an urgent response are likely from scammers. Do not respond or react to these messages.

Contact Your Provider if You are Unsure

If you are unsure whether a MyChart-related email is legitimate, contact your healthcare provider directly using a phone number from an official website or other trusted source. Be careful when dialing, as scammers sometimes use phone numbers that closely resemble legitimate ones.
