About Paul

Paul has more than 25 years of experience providing comprehensive care, including preventive services, treatment of minor and severe illnesses and chronic condition management, to patients of all ages.

Expertise

Paul recently served as a brigade surgeon in the United States Army at Fort Jackson in Columbia, South Carolina, where he supervised other advanced practice providers, a behavioral health officer, medics and nursing assistants and provided care to up to 5,000 basic combat training recruits in continuous 10-week cycle training rotations.

Background

Paul graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Russian and East European studies from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and earned master’s degrees in Slavic linguistics from Indiana University in Bloomington and as a family nurse practitioner from the University of Tennessee. Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, he has additional certifications in basic and advanced cardiac life support.
