McNeely, MD, graduated summa cum laude from the College of Charleston Honors College in Charleston, South Carolina, with a Bachelor of Science in biology and earned her medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia. She then completed her residency at Palmetto Health Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina.
