About Dr. Bacon
Dr. Bacon graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Jacksonville University in Florida and earned her medical degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa. She then completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina.
Alongside the board-certified physicians, resident physicians and staff at Lexington OB/GYN, Dr. Bacon provides comprehensive obstetric, gynecologic and diagnostic services to women of all ages.

Dr. Bacon has more than 40 years of experience caring for women of all ages in all stages of life. In addition to her practice, she serves as a clinical professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, as a consultant physician for contraception for the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, and as a physician proctor for advanced practice registered nurses at SCDHEC.
Regarded for commitment to delivering the highest quality care and training the next generation of providers, Dr. Bacon has made more than 250 presentations and authored countless abstracts, book chapters, and peer and non-peer reviewed publications.

A fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Bacon is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology with subspecialty certification in pediatric and adolescent gynecology.
She is also a member of the American Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, the South Atlantic Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the South Carolina Obstetrical and Gynecological Society, among other organizations.
