It’s always a pleasure when I have my yearly check up with Dr. Monk . He is always pleasant , helpful, supportive and friendly when I come to my appointments. When I have questions he answers them clearly and explains to me when I do have questions.

Dr. Monk was very nice , very professional & I'm very glad that he thoroughly checked my lungs & told me it was OK to be put under general anesthesia in a couple of weeks for a heart procedure. Im also glad that he accepted me as a new patient.

Dr Monk and everyone there treated me like they had known me forever. I felt so relaxed that I wasn’t really worried about any testing or what they might do in my exam. Dr Monk reviewed my CT scan from a month or so ago and made me feel much better about the results. Everyone was friendly and professional.

Was not pleased with my last visit with Dr. Monk and the staff at the new office location, it was very rushed, did not appreciate the way the one staff girl talked to me, the care and concern the doctor showed was not good, strongly considering switching doctors and office

Everyone from the moment I entered the door, until the moment I entered the doctor's examination room bent over backwards to accommodate me and make me feel comfortable. The doctor appeared very informative but his bedside manner left a lot to be desired. At the end he acted like he did not have time to hear anything else I had to say. But that's okay, I got the results I needed and I'm sure I'm at least half the fault for me having felt like this. I'm one side of bubbly and he was not what I expected.

Monk, MD, earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
