Dr. Day is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine with additional certifications in advanced cardiac life support, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external defibrillator use.

Background

After graduating with a Bachelor of Health Sciences from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Matthew J. Day, DO, earned his medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg.

He completed his internal medicine residency at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, West Virginia, and went on to complete a critical care fellowship at Franciscan St. James Alliance at Midwestern University in Olympia Fields, Illinois. While there, he also served as chief critical care fellow.
