Dr. Jones is a member of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine and is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

Background

Dr. Jones graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina in Columbia with his Bachelor of Science in exercise physiology and received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. He then completed his residency in emergency medicine at Spectrum Health Systems in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Prior to joining Lexington Medical Center, Dr. Jones served as a physician at Greater San Antonio Emergency Physicians in San Antonio, Texas.  He has also completed two medical mission trips – one in El Salvador and one in Honduras.
