She recently cared for patients at Northside Anesthesiology Consultants in Atlanta, Georgia, providing general anesthesia services, including vascular, thoracic, labor and delivery, and regional techniques, at three hospitals and multiple surgery centers.

Background

A magna cum laude graduate of the University of South Carolina Honors College, Allyson W. Speaks, MD, earned her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. She then completed an anesthesiology residency at Emory University Hospital that encompassed training at multiple clinical sites including Emory University, an academic hospital and leading liver transplant center; Grady Health’s Marcus Trauma Center, Atlanta’s public level I trauma hospital; Emory Orthopaedic and Spine Center; and Egleston Hospital Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
