About Dr. Davis

Dr. Davis has nearly 10 years of experience providing a broad range of health care services, including management of complex conditions and critically ill patients, and supervising hospice care for patients with terminal diseases.

Expertise

Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the Society of Hospitalist Medicine. Dr. Davis most recently cared for patients at Augusta University Medical Center in its Department of Emergency Medicine and Hospital Services and served as medical director for Alliance Hospice in North Augusta, South Carolina.

He also served as medical director and interhospital liaison at AUMC, directing hospitalist services at its primary campus and off-campus sites, supervising clinician performances and performing administrative duties.

Background

Ian J. Davis, DO, graduated with honors from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, with a bachelor’s degree in Russian and earned his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. He then completed his internal medicine internship and residency at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
