This was my first appt here as a new patient. Nice facility. Dr Dunbar did not rush me. He asked multiple times during the appointment if I had any more concerns or questions. I am pleased with the evaluation & care I received. The assistant/Nurse also was thorough & pleasant. When my blood samples were extracted there was no pain. I would say this is the best of the three primary care providers that I have personally experienced.

If I'm discussing something as personal as my physical and mental health, it would be nice if the doctor at least pretended to care. He's not unfriendly by any means, just not personable in MY experience. I also lost 20+lbs since my last visit and the doctor made no mention of it which I found odd. I'm thinking about making a change frankly.

In addition to his clinical practice, he frequently volunteers at the Good Samaritan Clinic in West Columbia, South Carolina, which provides no-cost medical care to underserved communities throughout the state.Background
Dr. Dunbar graduated with an undergraduate degree in biological sciences from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, and earned his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
