Background

Dr. Ruth graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, and earned his medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia. After completing his residency at University of Florida Shands Hospital in Gainesville, he then completed fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology there.
