Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine and hospital medicine, Dr. Zamcho has more than 15 years of experience providing comprehensive hospitalbased internal medicine care to patients, including performing central lines, thoracentesis, paracentesis, arthrocentesis, ventilator management and advanced cardiac life support.Background
Dr. Zamcho graduated cum laude with his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania and earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He then completed his internal medicine residency at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
He most recently worked as a hospitalist at Prisma Health Baptist in Columbia and served as the hospitalist program’s medical director. He also served as medical director for Hospice Care of South Carolina.
