Steven E. Battle, DO, MPH, is an urgent care physician with extensive experience in emergency and general preventive medicine. He earned his doctorate in osteopathic medicine from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and a Master of Public Health from Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Background

Dr. Battle completed a public health/general preventive medicine residency at Harvard University/Madigan Army Medicine Center in Tacoma, Washington, and an emergency medicine residency at Memorial Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. Board certified in emergency medicine and general preventive medicine, he has provided emergent care to patients throughout the United States and abroad as a physician in the United States Army, including deployments to South Korea and Egypt as a flight surgeon. He also worked in Kenya as an active-duty public health research physician.
