Dr. DeRegis proudly joins the board-certified physicians and advanced practice providers at Lexington Medical Center Occupational Health to provide comprehensive workplace care from pre-placement assessments to workers’ compensation treatment.

Expertise

Dr. DeRegis is board certified in occupational medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.

He has more than 22 years of expertise as an occupational medicine physician, specializing in helping businesses and industries create safer work environments and preventing injuries through a variety of occupational health, wellness and education programs, as well as treating employees injured on the job and helping them get back to work as quickly and safely as possible. He recently cared for staff at Eastman Chemical Company, a Fortune 500 global specialty chemical business in Kingsport, Tennessee, with more the 15,000 employees.

Background

Before completing his medical degree at Saint George University School of Medicine in Great River, New York, Dr. DeRegis graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York, and earned a doctorate degree from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon.

He completed an internal medicine residency at Pinnacle Health in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and an occupational medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
