Dr. Varoqua graduated from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey, with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and earned a master’s degree in health administration from Walden University, headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She completed her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in Basseterre, Saint Kitts, and her family medicine residency at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton, Georgia, where she served as chief resident and was named “Resident of the Year.”
