About Dr. Brown

Dr. Brown graduated from the University of South Carolina Honors College in Columbia and earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He also completed his residency at MUSC, serving as chief resident.

Expertise

Dr. Brown has more than 20 years of experience providing comprehensive anesthesia services, most recently as staff anesthesiologist and medical director of Perioperative Services at Prisma Health Richland in Columbia. Dr. Brown also served on numerous committees during his tenure there, including the Pediatric Surgery Committee, the Professional Practice Committee, the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and the Harm Elimination Team. He was also co-chair of the Perioperative Committee and a clinical assistant professor for the USC School of Medicine.
