This was my first visit with this medical practice and doctor. Previous experiences with my last health care provider have left me feeling left behind. But the people at the Columbia Medical Group have brought back my belief that people do still care. They were all professional, courteous and always had my well being as their priority. This is a great place for me and everyone from the receptionist to the doctor are just what I have been missing in my health care. I will not hesitate to tell anyone who ask how much I like my experience there.

My provider cared enough to call the morning after my visit to give results of c-rays they had taken. I don’t remember that ever happening before.

I already had recommended Dr. Schwab to my family and friends. His medical skills are excellent. He listens and allows me to participate actively in my treatment. He explains every procedure, new medication and answers my questions and concerns. He makes the appropriate referrals and follows up on their completion.

Dr. Schwab was an absolute pleasure to work with. I was in the market for a new doctor and was thoroughly pleased. Discussed all relevant matters in as much detail as I needed / didn’t need. Dr. Schwab is one of the most involved and attentive doctors I’ve ever met. First visit, he told me everything in my medical history and I was amazed he spent time getting to know me beforehand. Since then, he is still on top of my history and works to help me forward with the issues I bring to him. Our family has been wanting this kind of doctor for a very long time.

The Dr was very pleasant and thorough. I felt comfortable talking about personal issues and he addressed all of my concerns. The assistant was very good as well and communication on follow up and prescriptions were excellent. I have referred my wife to the Dr for her Primary as well. I found Dr. Schwab to be very personable, intelligent and knowledgeable. His approach during our appointment was to engage me in an amical discussion during which we fully went over my health concerns and general physical and emotional health. I very much appreciated his method which was professional, but yet showed that he held high concern for his patients well-being and medical outcome.

About Dr. Schwab
Dr. Schwab has extensive experience in treating acute and chronic conditions for
patients of all ages in outpatient and inpatient settings, including
intensive care, musculoskeletal medicine, and in-office procedures, such
as point-of-care ultrasound.
Dr. Schwab graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology from DePauw
University in Greencastle, Indiana, and a master’s degree in medical
science from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in
Lexington. He then received his Doctor of Medicine there and completed a
primary care residency at the University of South Carolina School of
Medicine/Prisma Health Midlands in Columbia.
