Colby has nearly 10 years of experience caring for patients in preoperative, urgent care and emergency medicine settings. She recently served as a charge nurse at Lexington Health Cayce Urgent Care, supervising nurses and ancillary staff, providing quality care to patients of all ages and delivering appropriate discharge instructions, including transfers for higher acuity care and outpatient services. She also served on the health system’s Magnet and Code Blue committees.
Background
Colby earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff and completed her master’s degree in nursing as a family nurse practitioner at Francis Marion University in Florence, South Carolina.
