As a board-certified emergency medicine physician with nearly 30 years of experience, Dr. Wernsman recently served as medical director of the Emergency department at Prisma Health Tuomey in Sumter, South Carolina, and as an associate professor for Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine – Carolinas in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He is a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians and a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the South Carolina Medical Association.
