Expertise

Dr. Fichtner has extensive training and experience in the diagnosis, treatment and management of acute and chronic conditions in patients of all ages, as well as multidisciplinary care coordination with providers in a variety of clinical settings, including ambulatory, inpatient, emergent and urgent care. He also has experience in routine and high-risk obstetrics, joint injections, skin biopsies, incision and drainage procedures and suturing.

Background

Dr. Fichtner earned a bachelor’s degree in ecology and evolutionary biology from the University of Colorado in Boulder and completed his medical degree at the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine in Aurora. He then completed his family medicine residency at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, South Carolina, serving as chief resident.
