He recently served as a hospitalist at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, New York, managing the care of inpatients, providing consultation services and evaluations, and supervising advanced practice providers. He was also a clinical assistant professor for the Department of Internal Medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University.
Background
Dr. Armstrong graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York, and earned his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. He then completed his internal medicine residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where he was named Resident of the Year for inpatient internal medicine.
