During her training, Dr. Larson gained extensive experience providing general obstetric and gynecologic services ranging from outpatient care and minimally invasive surgery to routine visits and complicated consultations. She also served on the Program Evaluation Committee at Mercy Hospital St. Louis, acting as a liaison between faculty and residents for workflow and curriculum changes, and as a member of the program’s Wellness Committee.
Background
Dr. Larson graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville,Tennessee, with a bachelor’s degree in engineering and earned her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, Kentucky. She went on to complete an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in St. Louis, Missouri.
