About Rachel
Rachel offers a variety of surgical and nonsurgical therapies to cure or relieve symptoms of pelvic floor disorders.
Expertise
Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Rachel is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the South Carolina Association of Physician Assistants. She has extensive experience in the diagnosis, treatment and management of conditions related to pelvic floor dysfunction in women, including urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and other related disorders.
Background
Rachel graduated with honors from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and earned her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia. During her training, she completed rotations in a variety of specialties, including women’s health, emergency and hospital-based medicine, and general surgery, and conducted research on sacral neuromodulation in the treatment of overactive bladder.
