Dr. Wallace specializes in family medicine. He provides comprehensive care for patients older than 6 years of age.
Expertise
A member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association and the South Carolina Medical Association, Dr. Wallace is certified in advanced cardiovascular life support, advanced trauma life support, pediatric advanced life support and neonatal resuscitation. During his training, he gained extensive experience in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases affecting adults, including management of complicated and critically ill patients and multidisciplinary care coordination with providers in a variety of clinical settings. He also assisted with workflow optimization and productivity as a member of the Clinic Quality Committee and served on the Family Medicine Residency Program Interview and Evaluation Committee.Background
Dr. Wallace graduated from the University of South Carolina in Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee, Georgia. He then completed his family medicine residency at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, South Carolina, where he served as chief resident.
