Board certified with the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Myatich is actively involved in his profession through extensive committee work. Within Lexington Health, he has held the positions of Vice-Chair and Chair of the Division of General Surgery, and is currently the Chair of Peri-Operative Services and Cancer Liason to the American College of Surgeons.
He has his medical license in both South Carolina and North Carolina and is a member of the American Chemical Society, the North Carolina Medical Society, the South Carolina Medical Society, and has been an American College of Surgeons Fellow since 2002.
Background
A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Myatich received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, and his degree in Medicine from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1994.
His General Surgery residency was completed at the University Medical Center of Eastern Carolina/East Carolina University in June of 1999.
