Dr. McDonald has been the most compassionate doctor I have ever seen. She treated me like an actual person instead of just another patient. She went over my results in detail and proposed a treatment plan and we discussed pros and cons together. She made sure I asked all my questions and talked about all of my concerns. I have never felt more heard in my entire life.

Seem to be in a hurry, because was behind schedule. Usually takes more time with me to discuss issues. My opinion is the doctors offices are schedule to my patients and the doctors can't take the time they need to talk with the patients that they see. I just felt rushed

Dr. McDonald and her team, incredibly WONDERFUL, caring, ready to listen to my concerns, discuss options that I was comfortable with and generally made me feel welcomed and normal with my issues. I cannot say enough good things about her and the other team members from front desk to nurses that I came into contact with. After the appointment I ran into some issues filling a RX, needed prior authorization. They were right on top of that. Will 100% recommend to friends/family.

About Dr. McDonald
A West Columbia native, Dr. McDonald has a special interest in adolescent and pediatric gynecology, contraception, prevention of sexually transmitted infections and laparoscopic surgery.Dr. McDonald is certified in neonatal resuscitation. She is also a member of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Medical Association and the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology. Dr. McDonald is also a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, where she received the “Special Resident in Minimally Invasive Gynecology” award.
She wants her patients to see her as someone who is open to listening to their problems, not just about medical needs but also about life in general, and who has their absolute best interests at heart.
