Dr Cooper is a very knowledgeable physician. She always takes time to listen, and never appears to be in a hurry regarding the services that she gives to me or from my family per their conversations. Presently, my husband and daughter is her patients also, and I wish that all my family could be her patience, but unfortunately, they are too far. Dr. Cooper has such a great personality.!! About Dr. Cooper
A Columbia, South Carolina native, Kenya Cooper, MD, earned her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. She then completed her residency at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, South Carolina, where she served as co-chief resident.
Expertise
In addition to completing her family medicine residency, Dr. Cooper has been evaluating and treating patients at Self Regional Healthcare’s emergency care center and urgent care clinic and volunteering at the Greater Greenwood United Ministry’s Free Medical Clinic.
She also achieved certifications in advanced cardiovascular life support, advanced life support in obstetrics, fundamental critical care support, neonatal resuscitation and pediatric advanced life support.
