Background

A summa cum laude graduate of Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, Amanda R. Vartanian, MD, FAAP earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, graduating first in her class. She then completed her residency at Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital at the USC School of Medicine in Columbia. During her residency, she provided clinical care for patients in a variety of care settings, including pediatric and neonatal intensive care, newborn nursery, pediatric emergency care and subspecialty clinics.
