Staff made it easy to schedule an appointment, the appointment was within a few days of calling. About Dr. Gunter

Dr. Gunter provides comprehensive care for the entire family from birth to geriatrics.

Expertise

A Midlands’ native, Dr. Gunter is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the South Carolina Medical Association. He has certifications in advanced cardiac life support, basic life support and pediatric advanced life support. With 10 years of experience in health care, Dr. Gunter most recently completed his family medicine training, gaining experience in critical care, geriatrics, obstetrics and pediatrics, among other subspecialties, while volunteering to conduct sports physicals in the Greenwood community.

Dr. Gunter graduated magna cum laude with his bachelor’s degree in biology from Limestone College in Gaffney, South Carolina, and completed his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine in Bridgetown, Barbados. He then completed his family medicine residency at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, South Carolina.
