About Dr. DePeri

Board certified by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. DePeri is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, as well as a member of the American Hernia Society, the American Society of General Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.

He has more than 25 years of extensive experience in laparoscopic and robotic surgery, including minimally invasive bariatric, robotic hernia and revisional bariatric surgery, and most recently cared for patients as a laparoscopic and robotic surgeon at Hospital Corporation of America in Jacksonville, Florida.

Background

Dr. DePeri graduated with his bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, and earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, New York. He then completed a general surgery residency at Baystate Health in Springfield, Massachusetts.
