About Dr. White

Growing up in Lexington, South Carolina, and working at Lexington Medical Center while in high school and college, Dr. White cares for patients at Lexington Surgery and Lexington Health Weight Loss and Wellness. Specializing in bariatric, general and minimally invasive surgical procedures, the board-certified surgeons and highly skilled staff at these practices have decades of experience providing patients with continuous care from consultation through recovery.

Board certified by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. White is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons. He has additional certifications in advanced cardiac life support, advanced trauma life support, Apollo Endosurgery Overstitch™, da Vinci® Surgical System and fundamentals of endoscopic and laparoscopic surgery.

Dr. White most recently provided patients with comprehensive evaluations and surgical treatments, including bariatric surgical care, at Conway Medical Center in Conway, South Carolina. He specializes in robotic surgery, metabolic and bariatric surgery, foregut surgery, and minimally invasive general and hernia repair surgery.

Dr. White graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, and earned a medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He then completed a general surgery residency at MUSC and a bariatric and minimally invasive surgery fellowship at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
