Dr. Cox is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Christian Medical & Dental Associations. He has extensive experience in treating acute and chronic conditions in patients of all ages and has special interest in sports medicine.
During his residency, Dr. Cox also served on the Physician Excellence Committee and received the Self- Regional Outstanding Pediatric Resident Award.
Background
Dr. Cox graduated magna cum laude from Blue Mountain College in Blue Mountain, Mississippi, with a bachelor’s degree in biology and earned his medical degree from Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Lynchburg, Virginia.
He then completed his family medicine residency at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, South Carolina.
