About Hunter

Hunter provides comprehensive family medicine care to patients in Ballentine. He has more than five years of direct patient care experience and is a nationally certified emergency nurse with additional certifications in advanced cardiac life support and trauma nursing.

Expertise

While completing his training as a family nurse practitioner, Hunter worked as a registered nurse in Lexington Medical Center’s Emergency department in West Columbia. He then participated in the hospital’s one-year Nurse Practitioner Fellowship Program, where he cared for patients in family medicine settings and completed specialty rotations in cardiology, neurology, general surgery, radiology, orthopaedics, pediatrics, and ear, nose and throat.

An honors graduate of Newberry College, Hunter graduated magna cum laude with his master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner from Walden University.
