My physician talked about my condition very fast, some things I understood and some I didn’t. I caught the jist of most recommendations it wasn’t clear enough for me to confirm a plan for further treatment at this time. I will follow up with another visit as planned.

Jean provides comprehensive urologic care and advanced treatments for urologic conditions.
Expertise
Jean, retired lieutenant colonel in the Army Nurse Corps US Army Reserves, has more than 40 years of nursing experience and nearly 25 years of experience as an adult nurse practitioner. She is board certified and a lifetime member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honors Society of Nursing. She is an American Nurses’ Foundation Scholar and has also been named an American Academies of Practitioners “Distinguished Practitioner.”
Jean most recently treated patients at Columbia Urological Associates in Columbia, diagnosing and treating a variety of urologic conditions and disorders. In addition to her clinical practice, she also serves as a preceptor for the nurse practitioner programs at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, and USC.
Background
Jean graduated with a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and she earned a Master of Science in medical-surgical nursing from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Jean continued her education by pursuing a doctorate degree in educational research from the University of South Carolina in Columbia and completing her post-master’s preparation at USC as an adult nurse practitioner.
