My appmt with NP Cotty was very much needed and helped a great deal it pursuing a concerning health issue. She was everything one could hope for in heath care and always being available at any time.

She walked in and the first thing she told me was she’s running behind so I need to limit my symptoms to only 2. But I could come back for another appointment to tell her the rest. I don’t know how anyone can get a proper diagnosis if they aren’t allowed to tell all the symptoms.

Expertise
Mollie most recently treated patients as a nurse practitioner in Lexington Medical Center’s Emergency department, coordinating care, consulting with specialists and planning discharge for patients in the hospital’s Clinical Decision Unit and Behavioral Health Unit. She also evaluated and treated patients in the department’s triage area and helped establish its Provider in Triage program. Board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Mollie is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Public Health Association, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the South Carolina Nurses Association.

Mollie graduated with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of South Carolina Honors College in Columbia and earned her graduate degree in nursing as a family nurse practitioner from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. She then completed a fellowship in urgent care medicine at Carolinas Healthcare System in Charlotte, North Carolina.
