Rebecca Zobel is exceptional. Her clinical knowledge and level of patient care during visits is absolutely top notch. She is polite, inquisitive, and very helpful with addressing every medical issue that I have. Rebecca truly cares for her patients and it shows. I plan to keep her as my primary care giver for as long as she is available. I would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for the very best primary patient care.

The very first time I had, Rebecca Zobel nurse practitioner as I call her my doctor I knew right away I would not want to be with anyone else. She is very understanding, caring and listens to my needs and figures out what we can do together and gives me a lot of knowledge as far as how to handle my medical needs I would definitely suggest her as someone’s doctor nurse practitioner I think highly of her and her skills and the way she is at bedside with her patience.

I've been seeing Zobel for at least 6/7 years and when she moved to this office, I tried to change to a provider closer to me (your office is unfortunately about 40 min away from me). But I soon changed back to have Zobel as my PCP because she's such an amazing provider. She's knowledgeable, a genuinely kind person, and I trust her to help me with my (sometimes complicated) care. Yes it's usually a wait to see her, but I know that's how it goes when I come to see her and she always makes sure to give me the same amount of time as she does her other patients. It's a trade-off I've accepted in order to continue seeing her.

I absolutely love Rebecca. Unfortunately because of the distance between Rosewood and Harbison I have had to change offices but would on any day and time refer someone to her. Rebecca Zobel is the best paractioner I have ever had. Her care , concern, and true concern for her patients is astounding. About Rebecca
Rebecca provides comprehensive care to families in the Irmo area.
Expertise
A member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society, Rebecca has extensive experience caring for patients in a variety of settings. She has served as a registered nurse on the Cardiovascular/Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Lexington Medical Center, caring for non-surgical intensive care patients and postoperative patients, including those who had open heart surgery, gastrointestinal surgery and neurosurgery.
Rebecca also completed the Nurse Practitioner Fellowship Program at Lexington Medical Center, assessing, diagnosing and treating patients of all ages. As part of this program, she completed comprehensive hands-on training in a variety of specialties, including cardiology, gynecology, pediatrics and orthopaedics. Rebecca also gained experience performing various procedures, such as X-ray and electrocardiogram interpretation, incision and drainage of abscesses, injection of trigger points, pelvic exams, contraception counseling, skin biopsies, and skin tag and wart removal, among others. She most recently cared for patients of all ages at Lexington Family Practice Otarre Pointe.

Rebecca graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, and earned a Master of Science as a family nurse practitioner there. She also received the Clemson University Graduate Student Academic Excellence Award.
