Dr. Richard Hernandez is absolutely amazing! He truly cares about my needs as a patient and does so much to make sure everything is okay with my health by running bunch of labs. I never had a doctor who wanted to do all this for me. You have no idea how much I appreciate him for taking good care of me and my mental health. He always goes above and beyond! Especially when I was concerned about my safety at home, he did so much to give me all the important information I need to keep my kids and I safe. I’m blessed to have him as my provider! Richard provides comprehensive primary care for the entire family from birth to geriatrics.

Expertise

With more than 10 years of health care expertise, Richard has experience assessing, diagnosing and managing patients with acute and chronic health conditions. He recently completed the Lexington Health Nurse Practitioner Fellowship program, receiving advanced training at Lexington Family Practice Forest Acres and completing specialty rotations throughout the health system.

Background

Richard earned an associate degree in nursing from Mohave Community College in Kingman, Arizona, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science and chemistry from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. He went on to complete his master’s degree in nursing as a family nurse practitioner at Northern Arizona University.
